GeomorphIS, and team partners CSRC and ERIMICO, will perform avian survey and monitoring at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, California, during the 2016 breeding season. The team biologists will operate a Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship (MAPS) – style banding station in order to gather health information on avian populations (especially Inyo California towhees (Pipilo crissalis eremophilus) and other bird species on the installation.
