GeomorphIS is supporting Amec Foster Wheeler to create spatial data and update the City of San Diego storm water GIS database. This requires georeferencing and digitizing storm drain data from as-built engineering blueprints in order to capture drainage areas that have not been included in the master database. The project supports the delineation of major outfalls in drainage areas, as well as regulatory compliance requirements under the municipal storm water permit.
