GeomorphIS Tasked to Conduct Heritage Survey on Ouachita National Forest

The USDA Forest Service (USFS) has issued GeomorphIS a task order under the LMIR BPA to provide heritage services to the Ouachita National Forest, Arkansas. GeomorphIS and partner Algonquin Consultants will work to complete background and historic research; conduct archeological field survey; define site limits; determine condition; evaluate for eligibility to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) of all recorded resources; prepare reports; and curate artifacts and ancillary documents. The team will focus on areas of treatment that are high or moderate probability.
