Indian Health Service Tasks GeomorphIS to Conduct Historic Building Survey

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Engineering Services has issued GeomorphIS a task order to conduct an Historic American Builiding Survey (HABS) Level 2 Survey of 14 Historical Buildings at the Talihina Indian Hospital, in Oklahoma. GeomorphIS and its partners, FraserDesign and USWest Research will conduct literature review and research, and collect oral histories of the facility. Our team will compile additional archival information; coordinate with the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) and the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer (THPO); collect large-format photography of the facility; and prepare the final HABS 2 reports.
