NAVFAC SW Awards Smith’s Blue Butterfly Survey Task to GeomorphIS

GeomorphIS has been awarded a task order under our Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW) natural resources IDIQ contract to conduct the FY14 Smith’s blue butterfly survey at Naval Support Activity Monterey, California. The Smith’s blue (Euphilotes enoptes smithi). This federally listed endangered species occurs in fragmented populations along the Central Coast of California, primarily associated with sand dune habitat.
