GeomorphIS Team to Conduct Cultural Surveys at Sequoyah NWR, Oklahoma

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has tasked the GeomorphIS/Algonquin Consultants team to conduct cultural resource surveys for two proposed fishing ponds on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) land managed by the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), located south of Vian, OK. GeomorphIS Supports Algonquin Consultants on Trail of Tears Study

GeomorphIS is supporting Algonquin Consultants, Inc. with a National Park Service (NPS) Trail of Tears Association study. Tribal affiliations and historic locations and tribal removal sites and trails throughout much of the eastern US are gathered for the study. GeomorphIS is responsible for creating an NPS-compliant GIS database for the final data collected.
