US Forest Service Tasks GeomorphIS to Conduct Mexican Spotted Owl Surveys

The US Forest Service, Coronado National Forest, issued GeomorphIS a task order under our multi-year Biological Survey IDIQ contract to conduct Mexican Spotted Owl (MSO) Surveys within the Safford Ranger District, Arizona. GeomorphIS team member BIOME will conduct the protocol surveys in the Pinaleno Mountains during the spring of 2017.

GeomorphIS Updates Wildland Fire Review Guide for NPS

The National Park Service (NPS) tasked GeomorphIS to utilize the recommendations in the review-of-reviews final report (previously prepared by GeomorphIS) to revise the NPS’ existing wildland fire program review guidance documents. The BLM has awarded GeomorphIS a task order under our GSA PSS contract to prepare a Recreation Area Management Plan (RAMP) and Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area, along the central coast of Oregon.
