NAVFAC SW Tasks GeomorphIS to Develop Plant and Wildlife Consumption Handbook

GeomorphIS and team member HDR will prepare a plant and animal identification and consumption handbook for distribution to operational communities at Naval Base Coronado, Remote Training Site Warner Springs, California. Our team will design an educational handbook for military students attending the U.S. Navy’s Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) course.

US Army Tasks GeomorphIS to Prepare Solid Waste Plan

GeomorphIS and partner Rockgow, LLC will prepare an Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan (ISWMP) for the Army Sierra Depot, Herlong, California. The GeomorphIS team will coordinate closely with the Depot environmental department in preparation of the ISWMP, following the US Army Public Health Command Technical Guide 197.

Leidos Tasks GeomorphIS to Support NAVFAC Contract

GeomorphIS will support leidos in preparation of an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the VMU-4 Relocation project at MCB Camp Pendleton, California. Under this NAVFAC SW contract, GeomorphIS will analyze potential impacts of the proposed action on soils and geology, ground and surface waters, and socio-economic factors.
