US Forest Service Tasks GeomorphIS to Provide Realty Services

The US Forest Service (USFS) Region 5 has tasked GeomorphIS to provide a Realty Specialist to support the Mammoth Base Land Exchange project, involving the proposed acquisition and convenience of non-federal and federal lands on the Inyo, Stanislaus and Plumas National Forests, in Mono, Inyo, Tuolumne and Plumas Counties, California. The GeomorphIS Realty Specialist will oversee, provide coordination, and complete action items as outlined in the Mammoth Base Land Exchange Implementation Schedule executed on August 15, 2016, with oversight and review by the USFS. The Realty Specialist will be involved in all aspects of this land exchange, exclusive of the appraisal process, review and approval, to completion should that be the final decision of the Forest Service in the Record of Decision for this exchange. Work will be in conducted and completed in compliance with all applicable law, regulation and policy.
